okay, so was i the only one who saw the season 3 premier of Avatar???

the kiss between mai and zuko... 1.) wasn't expecting him to actually LET her, 2.) WHAT THE FREAK ABOUT ZUTARA FOREVER?!!?! (sorry, i'm a HUGE zutara fan), and 3.) why the bleep is zuko letting ANYONE get close, let alone that hussy mai???

sokka's line, "thank you, the universe!" was hilarious. *sigh* same ol' sokka... =)

fire lord ozai actually looks...normal. almost gentle-faced, even. quite a contrast to the complete monster he really is.

how many times must we remind poor zuko...AZULA ALWAYS LIES!!!

the aang/zuko parallel was beautiful, and fitting with the final season of the series. hero and (i hope!!) anti-hero have a lot in common.

katara has a lot of issues, and i think they brought it out a little early and a little blatantly. but then again, maybe that's just me.

toph has freaking MAD SKILZ, omfg.

katara's really not bad, either, but toph. omfg.

i thought filling us in on what amounted to 3-4 weeks between the final epi of season 2 and the premier of season 3 was a little rushed. (read: a LOT) i mean, i suppose if they're trying to get the story to the fire nation asap, that's one thing. but it just felt so...just so rushed. they fit all that material into half an hour, when usually the first epis of a new season are an hour long. that would've been more appropriate, i think. at least it would have flowed better, in my opinion.

and i CANNOT BELIEVE aang burned his glider!!!!!!!!!!!
