I'll be adding more of my characters to this thread. Some may become major characters in the story while some may remain as minor characters who are only used when needed. I'll see how it goes.
I'm starting off with CONOR CASTEL
Age: 26 Height: 6' Eyes: Reddish brown Hair: Black with hints of purple Race: Mixed (1/2 rydan 1/2 human) Personality Very business like, may seem a bit egotistical. He is highly educated and knows several languages. He's always delving into new business ventures. Favorite Foods: Anything but fish. Loves chocolate. Antagonists: Those who are jealous of the Castel's power in Bizmar and Belald, the new crimelord controlling the southwest side of the city.
Conor is one of the adopted sons of Donaldash Castel, a powerful crimelord who has controlled the southeast side of Bizmar for over 25 years. Donaldash also owns a major construction company. Conor is slowly taking over his father's businesses since Donal has gone into semi-retirement.
Conor owns numerous businesses in Bizmar as well as a new racetrack just outside the city. Recently he purchased an island with a few others and intends to turn it into a vacation paradise with an emphasis on gambling. (think Vegas)
His siblings are Quinn and Feylin. Conor's bodyguards, Wade and Trent are always close by.

Pot of Gold Gambling Hall 5. Nigu's Bookstore (forgeries) 6. Castel Racetrack (just outside city) 7. Castel Dogtrack (intends to build in city center) 8. Several 2 bedroom homes on the southeast side that he rents out.

Age: 18 Height: 6' Eyes: Blue Hair: Dark Brown with golden highlights. Race:Human Hobbies: Took lute lessons when his dad was alive. Favorite foods: Pancakes, mashed potatoes. HATES pears, spicy stuff, salads, and most veggies. Personality Has a very warm heart, but living on the street has made him somewhat snippy and sarcastic. He's quite angsty at times, falling into a depressive state whenever he visits his mother. Special Notes: He's ambidextrous---but right hand is stronger. Has a tattoo of rose/knife on left butt cheek, and a swirl design on left arm. Antagonists: Kanet, leader of the Black Death Knights gang.
Nate has to live with the fact that he caused his mercenary father's (Willem) death. At the age of 10 he ran out into the street to retrive a gold coin just as a carriage came flying around the corner. His father rushed to push him out of the way and ended up getting trambled by the horses.
Nate's mother (Ebba) never forgave him for his father's death. She took to drinking heavily, and began verbally abusing him daily. Eventually Ebba locked him out of the house and sold all his things, forcing Nate to learn to survive on the streets. Because of his mother, he has some self esteem problems and has a hard time believing he deserves to be happy. He still cares for his mother deeply and visits her often, having to put up with her abuse.
Nate was a member of The Black Death Knights gang for a couple of years, leaving them when he got fed up with Kanet's leadership. Right now, Nate makes his home in an abandoned warehouse. He makes a bit of money doing odd jobs around the city. Recently he started fighting at the Fight Club in the city center to earn more cash and is becomming quite well known there since he hasn't lost a fight yet.

Age: 27 Hair: Black Eyes: green/gray-they tend to change colors depending on how the light hits them Height: 6'1 Race: 1/2 Elf, 1/2 Melusine (*see below) Occupation:Warlock (**see below) From: Enthsera, a small fishing village. His parents, sister and brother still live there. Personality: Silly, friendly Quirks: Heals very fast in water and his powers seem to increase when around water. Loves to cook but is a terrible cook. Has burned walls in his kitchen. Makes food too sweet or too spicy. (his taste bubs are different than a human's so he really doesn't get how awful things taste to others) Favorite color: Red and black

Gabe works for the Mage Guild of Bizmar and recently bought a small home in the city. He is in the slow process of furnishing it now. A lot of people say he's eccentric, but he doesn't see that. Gabe thinks he's pretty normal in an odd sort of way.
He smokes and drinks and loves to indulge in rich strawberry ice cream sundaes. A touch of vanilla added to his java brings an immediate smile to his face.
Gabriel wears a magical conical hat that allows him to carry about 2 large suitcases full of items.
*(from Wikipedia online encyclopedia) Melusine (or Melusina) is a figure of European legends and folklore, a feminine spirit of fresh waters in sacred springs and rivers. She is usually depicted as a woman who is a serpent or fish (much like a mermaid) from the waist down. She is also sometimes illustrated with wings, two tails or both, and sometimes referred to as a nixie.
** Warlock: A rare breed at the mage guild of Bizmar. Warlocks use and research darker spells. They deal with evil spirits, posessions, hauntings etc. (like an exorcist)

AGE: 22 HEIGHT: 6'1" HAIR: Auburn, but he dyes it a lot EYES: Amber RACE: ½ elf, ½ Rydan ? (Possibly full rydan. He's actually more powerful than Conor) PERSONALITY: Rebellious, punkish, free spirit, fun loving, lazy, party animal OCCUPATION: Helps with the family business. Is slowly studying to become a lawyer because that's what his adopted father wants him to be.
Quinn is the adopted son of the crimelord, Donaldash Castel and brother to Conor and Feylin. (they are not blood related) He is extremely intelligent but you'd never know it because he has a tendency to act like an idiot most of the time.
He is an experienced martial artist, knows how to handle a sword, and relies on his Rydan powers to get him out of a jam. Quinn is constantly getting bitched at by his father and older brother Conor because he loves to take foolish risks and gets a big kick out of ditching the bodyguards assigned to protect him.
He owns a nice home on the north side, complete with an indoor swimming pool that's magically cleaned and heated. Quinn loves to indulge in booze, sex, and drugs, and is known to have some pretty wild parties at his house.
Tia is the offspring of an elven ranger father and a forest nymph mother. Her parents lived within the Mystic Woods of Loris and were murdered by a band of ogres when Tia was twelve years old. Tia managed to escape death by hiding out in a tall tree.
When the ogres left the area she buried her parents then made her way to the city of Languss taking up thieving in order to survive. A few years later she stowed away aboard a ship bound for Neromba to flee from a mage she had stolen a rare book from and lived there for close to 5 years before returning to the nation of Loris and taking up residence in the city of Bizmar.
Tia continues to support herself by stealing and has, so far, managed to stay one step ahead of the authorities. She stands 5 foot 3 inches tall, has violet colored eyes and platinum blonde hair. Tia is 25 years of age although she appears to be much younger due to her elf-nymph heritage.
Tia is proficient with a short sword but prefers to use throwing daggers or her slingshot. She's quite perky and friendly.
