Several years ago, a group of young men got together, broke into an abandoned, run down warehouse on Cart street near the docks, and turned the place into a retreat for abandoned children and homeless people living on the streets.
The men that started the place and continue to oversee it are:
Gage, Muzo.... Elmer, Blain, Joel, Toby, Shaun, and Clark
(I've already developed personalities for Gage and Muzo, but the other guys are basically "free" characters (**see below) so you don't have to feel hesitant about writing in some of their actions)
Others volunteering at the warehouse are:
Sela, Beatrice, and Gertrude: 3 middle-aged sisters who do the cooking and cleaning. Beatrice and Gertrude never married. Sela's husband died and left her enough money to live on. Her sisters stay with her in a small house near the warehouse.(these are "free" characters)
Sirius Rose: (teacher, herbalist, 28, 5'11" tall, ½ elf, concocts medicinal potions and salves, teaches kids to read and write, gives private tutoring lessons to merchant's kids, knows how to handle a sword.) (NOT a free character)
Jareth Knox:Psychic healer (NOT a free character)
Father Tillis:Priest of a small church of Zeus followers. (a free character)
Some of the kids here and their ages:Margaret (8),Janice (6), Rimona (5), Nina (6), Veronica (7), Adam (9), Linus (4), Timothy (3), Dominic (8), Andrew (5), Noah (3). David (7, deaf, uses sign language) (They are also several infants here.)
NOTE:When I say someone is a free character that means I have no desire to develop any of them on my own as major characters. All the writers can take part into breathing life into free characters. Where one writer leaves off, the next can pick up and continue using them in their post if needed. The kids are free characters so it's fine to write in their words and actions in your post. If you feel the need, you can also place other characters here and add something about them in a reply to this post if you want. Please let us know if they are free characters though or if you prefer to develop them on your own.
